How to handle plastic cards as a company administrator

This article is for all company administrators who want to know more about managing plastic cards

Why is it useful to enable this feature?

When this setting is enabled, company admins can add and manage physical access cards for their employees themselves — without having to go through the building admin every time. It makes the process faster for you and gives you more control over day-to-day access management.


Allowing a company admin to manage cards

  1. Go to Buildings, found near the middle-left corner of your screen.

  2. Go to Companies, found within the Building list.

  3. Select the company from the list that you wish to enable the permissions. For example, Welcome Workdays AS.

  4. Once you've entered the desired company, select the Welcome Access button found in the middle-top of your screen.

  5. Toggle the Allow company administrators to manage access cards button to Yes

    Please note: If you wish to disable this at any time, you simply have to follow these steps and toggle No instead

    Now you've granted your desired company to manage access cards!


Granting a plastic card to an individual within a company

  1. Go to Company, found near the top-left side of your screen.

  2. Select your desired company from the list and then go to Users, found within the Company list.

  3. Find the user in the list that requires a plastic badge

  4. Go to Welcome Access on the user´s profile

  5. Go to the Actions button and select Order physical access card from the drop-down menu.

    You have the choice to write an optional order message and then you can make the order for the physical badge.
