Welcome Workdays supports digital access cards via NFC on iPhone and Android phones. This provides fast, stable, and secure access compared to Bluetooth-based solutions. The cards are encrypted and stored securely in Apple Wallet or on your Android device.
Important: Digital access cards work alongside plastic cards. Employees can choose to use either mobile, plastic card, or both. We still recommend that everyone moves toward a plastic-free future!
Activating Digital Access Cards
To activate digital access cards for a tenant in the building:
Login to app.welcomeworkdays.com.
Go to Building.
Go to Companies.
Go to the Welcome Access tab.
Select a company from the list in the building that you wish to integrate with the access control system
Check that the company:
Integrated with the access control system
Access groups are configured
Turn on Digital Access Card.
Note: We recommend enabling Automatic Synchronisation, so that new users automatically receive a digital card when they are invited. This means everyone receives an invitation email with information on how to set up their digital access card.
