How to cancel or change a catering order (Welcome Snack)

Welcome Snack lets you order meeting food directly to your building. If you need to cancel or change an order, here's how.

Important: Orders cannot be edited

Once an order is placed, it cannot be modified. If you need to change anything (quantity, time, delivery instructions), you must cancel the order and place a new one.


How the order process works

When you place an order, it goes through the following steps:

  1. Order placed: You receive a confirmation email with order details, total amount, and the restaurant's contact information (email and phone).

  2. Awaiting restaurant confirmation: The restaurant must confirm they can fulfill the order. You can cancel during this step.

  3. Restaurant confirms: You receive an email confirming the order. The order can no longer be cancelled in Welcome Workdays.

  4. Delivery: Food is delivered at the agreed time and location.


Cancellation: Before and after confirmation

Before the restaurant has confirmed

As long as the restaurant has not confirmed the order, you can cancel it yourself:

  1. Go to My Orders in the Welcome Workdays portal, or use the link in the confirmation email.

  2. Find the order you want to cancel.

  3. Click on the order and select Cancel Order.

  4. You will receive an email confirming the cancellation.

After the restaurant has confirmed

Once the restaurant has confirmed the order, you can no longer cancel in Welcome Workdays. You must contact the restaurant directly.

The restaurant's contact information (email and phone number) is always included in the confirmation email you received when you placed the order.

The restaurant can cancel a confirmed order on their end. If they do, you will receive an email notification.


Order deadlines

Each restaurant has its own order deadline. The deadline determines the latest you can place an order.

Common deadlines:

  • Most restaurants require orders to be placed by 12:00 the day before delivery.

  • Orders placed after the deadline can only be delivered the following business day at the earliest.

  • Some restaurants accept same-day orders, while others require longer notice.

The order deadline is always shown in the order form when you select a delivery time.

Can I edit an order after placing it?
No, orders cannot be edited. You must cancel and place a new order. Note that this is only possible before the restaurant has confirmed.

The restaurant has confirmed, but I need to cancel. What do I do?
Contact the restaurant directly via email or phone. You will find the contact information in the confirmation email. The restaurant can cancel the order from their end.

My order was rejected. What do I do?
If the restaurant rejects the order, you will receive an email notification. You will not be charged. Contact the restaurant for more information.

Where can I find my orders?
Go to My Orders in the Welcome Workdays portal, or use the link in the confirmation email.

Where do I find the restaurant's contact information?
The restaurant's email and phone number are always included in the confirmation email you received when you placed the order.
