About Welcome Identity

This article is for all users who want to know more about Welcome Identity

Welcome Identity is the identity and login module in Welcome Workdays. It gives IT administrators full control over how users log in and access the platform — either through Single Sign-On (SSO) connected to Microsoft or Google Workspace, or via a one-time passcode sent by email.

With Welcome Identity, organisations can automate user management so that access is granted and removed automatically based on a user's status in the company's directory system. This reduces manual work and ensures only active users have access to the platform.

Getting started

An overview of the two login methods available in Welcome — SSO and passwordless email login — with guidance on which is right for your organisation and how to configure them.

If users aren't receiving emails from Welcome, spam filtering may be the cause. This article shows IT administrators how to whitelist the Welcome email domain in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.

If your organisation uses more than one email domain, IT administrators can extend the SSO setup to cover all of them. Note that activation can take up to 24 hours.
