Common issues with email and notifications
This article covers the most common issues related to email notifications, login codes, and SMS messages in Welcome Workdays.
I'm not receiving my login code by email
If you use passwordless login and are not receiving your code:
Check your spam/junk folder. The code is sent from noreply@welcomeworkdays.com
Wait up to 2 minutes. During high traffic, delivery may take a moment.
Make sure you are using the correct email address. You must use the same address registered in Welcome Workdays. Contact your company administrator if unsure
Ask your IT department to whitelist the sender. Some corporate email filters block automated messages. Ask IT to add welcomeworkdays.com as a trusted sender
Use SSO instead. If your company uses Single Sign-On (SSO) via Microsoft, you don't need a code. Select "Log in with Microsoft" instead
My 6-digit code is incorrect
If you're entering the Welcome Portal for the first-time, you will be expected to verify your email address, where you will be sent a 6-digit code to the email address assigned to your Welcome user profile. Therefore, please do the following to ensure a successful login:
Clear Inbox: Delete all recent emails containing a 6-digit code to your inbox to ensure that you're not trying to login with the wrong 6-digit code
Attempt immediately: Don't wait for the code to expiry! As soon as you receive it, use the code to login
I'm not receiving SMS notifications
SMS is used for visitor notifications and some login codes:
Check that your phone number is registered. Log in via the browser and verify your profile
Make sure the number includes the country code. The number should start with +47 for Norwegian numbers
Look for the message under "unknown senders". Some phones sort unknown senders into a separate folder
I'm receiving emails I don't want
Welcome Workdays sends two types of email:
Operational notices (e.g. elevator maintenance, fire alarms): These are mandatory and cannot be turned off. They concern your safety
News and marketing (e.g. events, offers): These require your consent. You can turn them off in your profile under "Notifications".
If you are receiving emails after leaving a company, contact your former company administrator to have your user account removed.
Welcome emails are going to spam
Ask your IT department to add these addresses as trusted senders:
See our dedicated article on email whitelisting for detailed instructions.
